The sacrament of marriage is a cause for joy and celebration. By coming to Trinity Cathedral to be married, an engaged couple is requesting that the church both witness and bless their marriage. A wedding is one day; Christian marriage is for a lifetime.
Defend them from every enemy. Lead them into all peace. Let their love for each other be a seal upon their foreheads. Bless them in their work and in their companionship; in their sleeping and in their walking; in their joys and in their sorrows; in their life and in their death.from The Blessing of Marriage, The Book of Common Prayer
All weddings are scheduled by the Trinity Cathedral office on a first come, first serve basis. Weddings will be scheduled so that they do not conflict with the worship life of the parish. Weddings will not be scheduled during Holy Week (Palm Sunday-Easter Sunday); Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after; December 24, 25, or 26; or January 31 or 1.
We are happy to schedule a tour of the Cathedral by appointment. At this time, weddings at Trinity Cathedral are only available for members of the parish or family members of parish members.
